Barb - Drawing from life
Judy's oil painting - This is a painting of the home she and her husband
lived in when they were first married. Notice the photo setup at the
side, and the model car posed in front of the photo. The car is a
replica of the car they owned when their first child was born.
Tom - Drawing. He is very serious about his artwork.
Mara and her oil painting from life, in the Flemish method. Notice the
original drawing on the floor, and the setup. This was painted in
natural north light.

Gwen's Campfire - oil - Feel the warmth!
Judy's Teapot - Oil, Flemish method. Judy hosts a holiday tea party each
year with the women and girls in her family. She painted this one for
her granddaughter.
Mara's oil - Boundary Waters Canoes
** This painting received a prestigious award from Congressman John
Kline, and is now hanging in his office in Washington DC! I am very
proud of Mara! **
Mara's pastel - Cat - look closely and notice the beautiful colors in the shadow areas.
Scott's oil - He is working on loosening up in his
brushwork and this is a really nice painting. Nice composition, nice
colors, and very painterly.
Scott's pastel - He painted a series of the exact same scene, using different color palettes in each one.
Shirley's pastel - Self Portrait - Shirley has a vibrant spirit and her
use of bright colors in this painting reflect her personality.
